The Energy Bill Relief Scheme

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our prospective and existing customers and clarify the following on the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS):

  • The Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS) applies to fixed contracts agreed on or after 1st December 2021 as well as to deemed, variable and flexible tariffs and contracts. It will apply to energy usage from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023, running for an initial six-month period for all non domestic energy users..
  • All energy suppliers will apply the same discount. This discount will automatically appear on your statements. Customers do not need to apply for the scheme or contact us.
  • The BEIS department recommends all customers continue to enter into fixed price agreements as normal to shield businesses from future wholesale price increases. This way we can ensure all our customers are protected from the volatility in the current wholesale market.
  • For customers who qualify for the Energy Bill Relief Scheme we kindly ask all qualifying customers to provide us with monthly gas and / or electricity meter reads until end of the scheme. This should be done ideally on the first day of the month or no later than the 10th.This will be a great help to get your bills as accurate as possible and ensure we apply the right discount throughout the scheme period.

The EASY Way to Get A Cheaper Half Hourly Electricity Quote

by D-ENERGi

If you want to know of one EASY way to get a cheaper half hourly electricity quote for your business, then you need to read this article.

Firstly, it’s important that you search the market to compare business energy prices when your provider tells you of next year’s contract rates.

However, since you are searching for a half hourly electricity quote indicates that you are a large consumer of electricity and will have a half hourly meter installed.

This means that your electricity usage is being measured every 30 minutes and the data is being sent to your supplier.

And while this is a great facility to have as half hourly electricity prices tend to be much cheaper than they are for small and medium-sized firms, there are issues.

Sourcing cheaper half hourly electricity tariffs

The first problem when sourcing cheaper half hourly electricity tariffs is that the procurement process is more complex and takes longer to complete.

It’s also recommended by Ofgem that you seek expert advice to ensure that any tariff being offered will meet your needs.

You may find that by simply shopping around potential suppliers as a business energy comparison, your current provider may rethink their tariff and offer reduced rates to keep you as a loyal customer.

And this is where your half hourly meter really can work for you because the data it records can also be used by a potential supplier to tailor their offering to best meet your needs.

New half-hour electricity provider

Essentially, a potential new half-hour electricity provider will know when your peak and off-peak periods of demand are and deliver a tariff for lowering your costs.

In addition, they may even also offer an energy consultancy to help you reduce consumption levels, so they will help you enjoy greater savings.

This may be of particular importance for those firms that are very large consumers of electricity because you’re helping our environment and boosting your own green credentials.

There’s a lot to consider when it comes to finding a new electricity provider and what about our promise of finding an EASY way to source a cheap half hour provider?

The simple answer is to speak with the friendly team of experts at D-Energi who will be able to source the entire market of providers to deliver a cheaper half hourly electricity quote and ensure that your contract will meet your current and future needs.
