The Energy Bill Relief Scheme

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our prospective and existing customers and clarify the following on the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS):

  • The Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS) applies to fixed contracts agreed on or after 1st December 2021 as well as to deemed, variable and flexible tariffs and contracts. It will apply to energy usage from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023, running for an initial six-month period for all non domestic energy users..
  • All energy suppliers will apply the same discount. This discount will automatically appear on your statements. Customers do not need to apply for the scheme or contact us.
  • The BEIS department recommends all customers continue to enter into fixed price agreements as normal to shield businesses from future wholesale price increases. This way we can ensure all our customers are protected from the volatility in the current wholesale market.
  • For customers who qualify for the Energy Bill Relief Scheme we kindly ask all qualifying customers to provide us with monthly gas and / or electricity meter reads until end of the scheme. This should be done ideally on the first day of the month or no later than the 10th.This will be a great help to get your bills as accurate as possible and ensure we apply the right discount throughout the scheme period.

How to Find the Cheapest Business Electricity Prices

It is a fairly obvious fact that businesses will tend to use more electricity than households, and energy is also much more important to them as well. If you are a business who has suffered from a power cut, then you will know that it cannot only impact your credibility but your bottom line as well.

This is why when it comes to comparing energy suppliers, it shouldn’t just be about the cheapest business electricity prices, but amazing customer service as well. You need to know that they have your back, and will get any issues resolved in record time.

When you use D-ENERGi to help you to compare business energy suppliers, therefore, we won’t just look at who the cheapest business electricity supplier is, but also who is offering the right level of customer service for your business – saving you not only money but potential headaches as well.

When it comes to comparing suppliers, it is hard to give you an exact amount on how much you could potentially save because your quote will be based on individual items such as your business size, how many staff you have, and how your business is run. We have been doing this for over 19 years though, so we know our stuff, and will work really hard to get you the most competitive quote out there.

Switching energy suppliers when you are a business customer isn’t as simple as if you have switched your home energy supplier. Yes, your electricity and gas will still come through the same pipes (as they do at home) but as a business, you can’t change supplier willy nilly, you have to wait until you have entered your contracts “switching window” which is usually somewhere around one to six months before the end of your contract.

Once you have entered the “switching window” you should definitely do a maid easy az business energy price comparison so that you have your new tariff and contract lined up and ready to go when your existing contract ends.

If you want to find the cheapest business electricity rates UK you just need to get in touch with the D-ENERGi team. Just fill in the quick form on our website and we will call you straight back with the best quotes on the market – whether you are looking for business electricity, business gas, or both.
