The Energy Bill Relief Scheme

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our prospective and existing customers and clarify the following on the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS):

  • The Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS) applies to fixed contracts agreed on or after 1st December 2021 as well as to deemed, variable and flexible tariffs and contracts. It will apply to energy usage from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023, running for an initial six-month period for all non domestic energy users..
  • All energy suppliers will apply the same discount. This discount will automatically appear on your statements. Customers do not need to apply for the scheme or contact us.
  • The BEIS department recommends all customers continue to enter into fixed price agreements as normal to shield businesses from future wholesale price increases. This way we can ensure all our customers are protected from the volatility in the current wholesale market.
  • For customers who qualify for the Energy Bill Relief Scheme we kindly ask all qualifying customers to provide us with monthly gas and / or electricity meter reads until end of the scheme. This should be done ideally on the first day of the month or no later than the 10th.This will be a great help to get your bills as accurate as possible and ensure we apply the right discount throughout the scheme period.

  • Meter changing and Re-sitting

    We can change or relocate your existing meter or upgrade your existing meter to the latest AMR (Automated Meter Reading) meter. AMR technologies can help your business to reduce its carbon footprint and save operational costs.

  • Meter Removal and Installation

    If your business property no longer needs an electricity or gas supply, for example because it is going to be demolished, please contact us so we can arrange it to be disconnect from the mains network and make it safe. It may be better to ‘de-energise’ the property, if it is to remain in use. We can help you do that.

  • Repairs

    If it seems likely that there is a mechanical problem with your gas or electricity meter – such as a faulty time switch, incorrect time or blank display – D-ENERGi can arrange an engineer to come out visit you and repair any technical issues you may be experiencing.

  • Accuracy Checks

    Accuracy ChecksGas and electricity meters are generally reliable and major operational faults are rare. However if you suspect there is an issue please get in touch and we will arrange an accuracy test for a complete piece of mind.

  • Energise / De-energisation of sites

    We can energise/d-energise your site and work by working with network operators to help make your site safe.

  • New Connections

    New Energy ConnectionsWe can organise the installation of your new gas or electricity service with little or no disruption to your business. Working closely with the statutory providers allows us to provide you with both very competitive rates and time-scales whilst still providing a professional service.
