The Energy Bill Relief Scheme

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our prospective and existing customers and clarify the following on the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS):

  • The Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS) applies to fixed contracts agreed on or after 1st December 2021 as well as to deemed, variable and flexible tariffs and contracts. It will apply to energy usage from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023, running for an initial six-month period for all non domestic energy users..
  • All energy suppliers will apply the same discount. This discount will automatically appear on your statements. Customers do not need to apply for the scheme or contact us.
  • The BEIS department recommends all customers continue to enter into fixed price agreements as normal to shield businesses from future wholesale price increases. This way we can ensure all our customers are protected from the volatility in the current wholesale market.
  • For customers who qualify for the Energy Bill Relief Scheme we kindly ask all qualifying customers to provide us with monthly gas and / or electricity meter reads until end of the scheme. This should be done ideally on the first day of the month or no later than the 10th.This will be a great help to get your bills as accurate as possible and ensure we apply the right discount throughout the scheme period.

The EASY Way to Source Half Hourly Electricity Deals

If you are a business looking for an easy way to source half hourly electricity deals for meeting your everyday needs, then this article will help.

Firstly, the half hourly electricity supply market is a competitive one in the UK and these cheaper prices are restricted to large consumers of energy.

This means that small and medium-sized firms will not be able to access these tariffs and only those that can have half hourly meters installed.

The benefit of having these meters is that the consumption data will be sent automatically to the provider every 30 minutes.

This also means that there is no need for bills to be estimated any longer and all bills will be accurate.

Search for cheap half hourly electricity prices

When you begin the search for cheap half hourly electricity prices, you will need to appreciate that the procurement process for these is longer than it is for normal business electricity deals.

The main reason for this is that the contracts are more complicated which is why Ofgem, the industry regulator, recommends that a firm seeking a deal utilises the expertise of experts and brokers.

One of the best ways to access the entire market of half hourly deals is to contact the friendly team at D-Energi who can do this on your behalf and also ensure that the contract will meet your current and future needs.

The team can also take care of the switchover process and there will be no loss of supply when you make the switch.

Search half hourly electricity suppliers

The main aim is to search half hourly electricity suppliers for a contract that will meet your needs because your firm will have exact requirements that a supplier will need to deliver.

The data your firm produces will help to inform a potential provider of your peak periods of demand, so they can tailor their offering for meeting this need.

You can also use this information to help reduce energy consumption or switch to cheaper periods to help reduce your firm’s energy bills and boost your environmental credentials.

In addition, you can even find a supplier offering an energy consultancy that will undertake an exercise to help reduce consumption levels and deliver even greater savings than you would otherwise enjoy.
