The Energy Bill Relief Scheme

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our prospective and existing customers and clarify the following on the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS):

  • The Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS) applies to fixed contracts agreed on or after 1st December 2021 as well as to deemed, variable and flexible tariffs and contracts. It will apply to energy usage from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023, running for an initial six-month period for all non domestic energy users..
  • All energy suppliers will apply the same discount. This discount will automatically appear on your statements. Customers do not need to apply for the scheme or contact us.
  • The BEIS department recommends all customers continue to enter into fixed price agreements as normal to shield businesses from future wholesale price increases. This way we can ensure all our customers are protected from the volatility in the current wholesale market.
  • For customers who qualify for the Energy Bill Relief Scheme we kindly ask all qualifying customers to provide us with monthly gas and / or electricity meter reads until end of the scheme. This should be done ideally on the first day of the month or no later than the 10th.This will be a great help to get your bills as accurate as possible and ensure we apply the right discount throughout the scheme period.

Find cheap business energy supplier

For any business looking to reduce its energy costs then the process of finding a cheap business energy supplier is very easy.

We’ve explained previously on the D-Energi blog about the issues that a business looking to switch energy suppliers should be looking for and be aware of and this article looks much more closely at how to find those suppliers.

The easiest and simplest way to find them is to conduct an online search which will reveal a number of energy suppliers, including D-Energi, who will be pleased to receive you as a business customer.

Regardless of whether the business looking to find a new energy supplier is large or small, it’s always good to find unbiased opinion that will bring the best price for their money and while many online comparison websites offer similar tools, the user may not know or be told that they might earn commission from referring them as a business.

Understand the cheap business electricity tariffs

Firstly, it’s a good idea to understand the cheap business electricity tariffs that are available and visiting the websites of the ‘Big 6’ business energy suppliers will give a good idea of what the best energy rates are and how the business could benefit.

Businesses often look to set up a new energy supplier when they move to new premises but so are small businesses and start-ups who are looking for a cheap business energy supplier that will meet their needs and at a low cost.

All businesses would be well advised to shop around to find cheap business electricity suppliers and also cheap gas energy suppliers and contact several to find who is offering the best deal.

Business looking for a cheap business gas deal

It’s also important that the business looking for a cheap business gas deal by switching energy supplier does not lose sight of the fact that they need to keep the supply of electricity or gas on which is vital to their business operation while conducting negotiations.

Indeed, cheap business electricity prices make up part of the business solution and businesses should be looking for excellent customer service and deal with a friendly team.

For this reason, the easiest way to find cheap business energy suppliers is to contact the team at D-Energi since we have the experience and expertise to deliver a bespoke energy solution for a business that not only meets their needs but also saves them money which will, in turn, boost their profitability as well.
