The Energy Bill Relief Scheme

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our prospective and existing customers and clarify the following on the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS):

  • The Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS) applies to fixed contracts agreed on or after 1st December 2021 as well as to deemed, variable and flexible tariffs and contracts. It will apply to energy usage from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023, running for an initial six-month period for all non domestic energy users..
  • All energy suppliers will apply the same discount. This discount will automatically appear on your statements. Customers do not need to apply for the scheme or contact us.
  • The BEIS department recommends all customers continue to enter into fixed price agreements as normal to shield businesses from future wholesale price increases. This way we can ensure all our customers are protected from the volatility in the current wholesale market.
  • For customers who qualify for the Energy Bill Relief Scheme we kindly ask all qualifying customers to provide us with monthly gas and / or electricity meter reads until end of the scheme. This should be done ideally on the first day of the month or no later than the 10th.This will be a great help to get your bills as accurate as possible and ensure we apply the right discount throughout the scheme period.

D-ENERGi offer Anaerobic Digesters as a renewable solution

by D-ENERGi

D-ENERGi are delighted to announce that we can offer surveys for Anaerobic Digesters. Anaerobic Digestion converts everyday food and waste, to biogas. This biogas can be used to generate electricity, gas or heat or compressed for use as a biofuel. This technology is ideal for a range of users from equestrian centres and food producers, hotels and hospital, schools.

All sorts of waste can be put into the self contained anaerobic digestion unit. These range from food waste, confectionery, vegetables through to farm waste such as manure. The unit can be installed to fit into your current waste removal process rather than replacing any current waste removal infrastructure. The fact that is self contained eliminates the need for planning permission. This technology allows you to create your own energy and provide more environmentally freindly way of getting rid of your waste. It also saves you all the money that you currently spend on waste collection and removal. It also the first  renewable technologies for which is eligible for both feed in tariff and Renewable heating incentive, making it a great commerical asset.

If you would like to know more if your business property is applicable for Anaerobic Digesters please contact us on 0800 781 7626 to arrange your energy audit.
