The Energy Bill Relief Scheme

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our prospective and existing customers and clarify the following on the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS):

  • The Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS) applies to fixed contracts agreed on or after 1st December 2021 as well as to deemed, variable and flexible tariffs and contracts. It will apply to energy usage from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023, running for an initial six-month period for all non domestic energy users..
  • All energy suppliers will apply the same discount. This discount will automatically appear on your statements. Customers do not need to apply for the scheme or contact us.
  • The BEIS department recommends all customers continue to enter into fixed price agreements as normal to shield businesses from future wholesale price increases. This way we can ensure all our customers are protected from the volatility in the current wholesale market.
  • For customers who qualify for the Energy Bill Relief Scheme we kindly ask all qualifying customers to provide us with monthly gas and / or electricity meter reads until end of the scheme. This should be done ideally on the first day of the month or no later than the 10th.This will be a great help to get your bills as accurate as possible and ensure we apply the right discount throughout the scheme period.

Appreciate Business Gas Prices Per kWh to Save

by D-ENERGi

If your business is looking to compare energy prices between providers, then you may need to appreciate the business gas prices per kWh (kilowatt hour) to really save.

There’s no doubt that for most firms, their energy bills will play a big part in their running costs.

What with heating and lighting as well as powering various pieces of equipment, you’ll be needing energy just to function every day.

However, a busy business owner may be too focused on running their business to search the market and may find that they are stuck on an energy tariff that is much too high for their needs.

Even worse, the tariff may not even be right for their business.

Compare business electricity prices per kWh

This is an issue the team at D-Energi understand and they can compare business electricity prices per kWh – and they do so for clients every day.

It’s important to appreciate that energy deals are not a case of being a one-size-fits-all offering since the supplier must offer a bespoke deal.

There are also two types of energy tariffs available; they are variable and fixed rate with the latter being the cheaper over the long-term because they may help protect against wholesale gas and electricity price increases.

If you decide to opt for a variable rate for your energy contract, then you’ll enjoy savings should the wholesale price of gas or electricity fall.

Cheaper business electricity prices per kWh

Finding cheaper business electricity prices per kWh is just one part of the exercise and you may need help in switching to a new provider.

Again, the D-Energi team can help in this regard and ensure that the deal you are signing up to is the best one for meeting your needs and will save you money.

There’s no point sticking with an energy provider if it means you are paying over the odds for your firm’s gas and electricity supply and you could boost profitability by switching.

Indeed, if you have never switched providers before then you could reduce your energy bills by up to 30%, depending on the deals available.

If you would like to know more about how to appreciate business gas prices per kWh to save on your firm’s energy bills, then you need to speak with the experts at D-Energi who can explain more.
