The Energy Bill Relief Scheme

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our prospective and existing customers and clarify the following on the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS):

  • The Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS) applies to fixed contracts agreed on or after 1st December 2021 as well as to deemed, variable and flexible tariffs and contracts. It will apply to energy usage from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023, running for an initial six-month period for all non domestic energy users..
  • All energy suppliers will apply the same discount. This discount will automatically appear on your statements. Customers do not need to apply for the scheme or contact us.
  • The BEIS department recommends all customers continue to enter into fixed price agreements as normal to shield businesses from future wholesale price increases. This way we can ensure all our customers are protected from the volatility in the current wholesale market.
  • For customers who qualify for the Energy Bill Relief Scheme we kindly ask all qualifying customers to provide us with monthly gas and / or electricity meter reads until end of the scheme. This should be done ideally on the first day of the month or no later than the 10th.This will be a great help to get your bills as accurate as possible and ensure we apply the right discount throughout the scheme period.

A Checklist for Business Gas Prices Per kWh

by D-ENERGi

Although most firms will be spending less on gas, it is still worthwhile checking every year for the cheapest business gas prices per kWh.

The main reason is that a firm should never overpay on their gas bill, even though it may be a lot smaller than their electricity overheads.

All firms and organisations should check every year when their current provider tells them of their new gas deal to see whether there are cheaper offers and tariffs available.

The lack of action may see you being moved across to dearer rates and a survey has revealed that just one in three small firms will change their provider every year.

Compare business electricity prices per kWh

There’s also a strong financial incentive to compare business electricity prices per kWh (kilowatt-hour) annually and there are potentially some big savings to be enjoyed.

Firms will need to find a lower unit price per kilowatt-hour and also understand that the daily standing charge – this is an amount you pay for electricity and gas to be delivered to your premises – will also vary.

Essentially, you need to find a new energy deal offering a cheaper unit price and also a lower daily standing charge to deliver any savings.

In order to compare deals, you’ll need to source several tariffs from a variety of providers. You can do this by contacting them individually or using an online business energy price comparison website.

The issue with the small business energy price platform is that they are probably not scouring the entire market for you so there could be cheaper and better deals available elsewhere.

Enjoy cheap business electricity prices per kWh

The trick is to access these deals to enjoy cheap business electricity prices per kWh, and also for gas, and there’s a simple way of doing it.

You should contact the D-Energi team who can access the whole market and, in just a few minutes, find a cheaper, better deal for you to enjoy savings.

In addition, you may also request that you would like a dedicated account manager from your gas or electricity provider and this is possible.

There’s also the potential of finding a provider offering an energy consultancy to help you reduce gas and electricity consumption levels which will then deliver enhanced savings.

There’s a lot to like about the D-Energi offering and if you would like to enjoy cheap business gas prices per kWh, and also lower your business electricity costs, then you need to speak to the team today.
