Free Survey

If you are interested in cutting your gas and electricity operating costs we offer a free survey of your property. The survey usually takes about an hour, and the surveyor will provide a report recommending the most cost effective energy efficiency measures. Carbon Trust Funding

Through the Government's Carbon Trust, we are able to provide interest free funding available for all of the energy efficiency measures we recommend. D-ENERGi will manage the whole process from the application for funds through to implementation of equipment. Hence there is no significant cost to either your bottom line or time.

The Carbon Reduction Commitment

The Carbon Reduction Commitment or CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme is new legislation that is due to come into force in 2010 as a part of the Climate Change Bill. Under this legislation it will become mandatory for all businesses in the UK with annual half-hourly metered electricity usage over 6,000MWh to join a cap and trade scheme and report their emissions to the government.

Display Energy Certificates (DECs)

Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations introduced the requirement for Display Energy Certificates (DECs) in public buildings by 1st October 2008. From this date a DEC must be prominently displayed in non-domestic public buildings with a gross floor area over 1,000 m2 (this is the area measured from the internal face of your external walls).

Display Energy Certificates and Advisory Reports can only be produced by a qualified and accredited non-domestic energy assessor. Our Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) is fully accredited to produce your DECs and Advisory Reports.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

An EPC conveys summary information about the potential energy performance of a building, it's fabric and services. The Energy Performance Certificate gives an A to G rating - called the Asset Rating - of energy performance based on CO2 emissions and includes recommendations for improvement. EPCs will be accompanied by a Recommendation Report highlighting measures which, if adopted, have the potential to save energy and money.
